Hi chist1 Before running in safe mode I "bombarded" my son with 3 mails: no messages from postmaster! So it seems that my operator had difficulties with their server.
Well, all is ok right now.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused
Thank you and my best regards Carsten

[email protected] does not sound like a reasonable email address. Verify the recipients email address in your sent message.
Hi christ1 Did check the receivers addresses but can't see anything wrong... Among the other recipients is no one close to this mystical non existent one. Informed my provider but they don't bother to answer.
Thank you Carsten
Try to run Thunderbird in safe mode. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
Is there any difference?
