remove 'ads by capricornus'
Recently Firefox has been tyaken over 'ads by capricornus,' whereby ads keep emergi8ng as new web pages. Also, ads pop up in sites that I want to see and block viewing.
I have Mcafee Total Protection.

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
