Firefox gmail is not allowing attachments. Icon does not respond. Why?
I send my work out as an email with word document attached. The paper clip icon shows "attach file" when I run curser over it, but does not respond when I clock on it to begin process of attaching a file. It is also showing as lightly colored icon when others are in darker color. I tried this on two different computers with the same response. Also rebooted computer to no avail. Is it me or the program? Gmail referred me to Firefox. Thanks for any help.

If you can't add attachments to Gmail messages then you need to add an allow exception to allow pop-ups for this Google website (mail.google.com). Easiest to do this is to click the padlock on the location bar and click the "More Information" button to open the "Tools > Page Info" window with the Security tab selected. Proceed to the Permissions tab Remove the tick on "Open Pop-up Windows" > "Use Default" and click the Allow radio button to change the permission to allow pop-ups for the mail.google.com domain.
