Upon clicking to open, this message: A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. Script: chrome://tavgp/content/libs/include.js:595.
If I click 'continue' terrible things happen. Firefox either won't start (and it wouldn't start for about 3 tries) or if a window is open, firefox will freeze up.
If I click 'stop script', I get another pop-up message: what happened:TypeError: Components.classes['@mozilla.org/extensions/manager;1'] is undefined
I can only click 'ok' and firefox soon opens.
Maybe unrelated, I think I have a problem with flash. I have a yahoo home page that includes a comic strip 'app'. It now takes over a minute to load where it used to take maybe 20 seconds. This may have happened with the latest big update with firefox (but I'm not sure).
I have checked for plugin updates and the checker upper often says I need a flash update or I come across a website that says I need to update this plugin. When I went to go download the most recent update for flash today, the links to download only took me the same page I was on. No download.

Disable "AVG Safe" extension, it was installed by AVG Free , to actually uninstall the extension you would need to reinstall AVG Free without the Link Scanner component as described in Problematic extensions.
