All websites except Facebook have random words that have turned into ad links. Even my own website, and especially a chat board.

I already have CA antivirus, AES Pro, CCleaner, Ad-aware, Spybot, Hitman Pro 3.5, and Malwarebytes. None get rid of it. It is NOT in IE when I open that.

Ok, so a friend told me to try Noscript, and that finally worked! It's a hassle though, because you have to click on a new options tab at the bottom of the window and allow or forbid the scripts on every page you visit. You only have to do it once per site though. http://noscript.net/ Some things still slip through, so it's still not the Firefox I had before this all happened.

Come on Firefox people, fix me completely!

Hi Buttercup777,

I hate to tell you, I was starting to get this problem after I installed the Noscript extension, when I got tired of disabling all those scripts that I was never aware of before. So, I uninstalled the Noscript extension but now experiencing adds even when I use Firefox on my local server.

Since I don't have the same issue with Explorer or the Google browser locally or remote, it's safe to assume the add ware is not residing on my PC, but rather being incorporated in the Firefox browser.

Here's something else to think about. I use Firefox 3.6.13 on 2 other PC's, which I never installed the noscript extension, and I don't have that problem. Not yet anyway.

So, I don't really know what to think, but it surely makes me suspicious. Good luck!

Script.clickbubbles.net issue solved for me!

I keep my fingers crossed, as I was able to rid myself of this nightmare. In desperation I installed Firefox 4.0 Beta 11 and the symptoms are so far history.

Only a few extensions I rarely use are not yet compatible, but otherwise ver. 4.0 has not yet given me any issues.

After all, I still have the infected version at my disposal as well. Hope this helps, and good luck.
