Hi, for the past few Firefox releases, I run into a problem where the mouse cursor does not change into a "hand" when hovering over something clickable. Instead, it continues to keep its arrow form. This is not simply a cosmetic issue, as it appears to cause issues with websites that rely on hovering for drop-down menus, as well as clicking on YouTube videos, for example.

The issue briefly resolves itself when I restart or reset Firefox, but it always comes back within a few hours. I have also tried disabling all extensions to see if there is any improvement.

If the mouse is unresponsive to elements on webpages, create a new Number pref named ui.primaryPointerCapabilities and set its value to 6 to indicate you use a mouse with hover capabilities.

Do you have a pen tablet or touchscreen input device connected or enabled?

Tried adding ui.primaryPointerCapabilities and setting it to 6 but the issue has still occurred.

No external device is attached and this is a MacBook Air that does not have a touchscreen.

Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?

Im having the same issue, sort of. My mouse cursor is a pointy hand, the moment i click a clickable element and page reloads/changes but mouse cursor lands on a clickable element instead of going to pointy hand it will be normal cursor until i leave a clickable element to change the 'state' of the cursor. Ive included some screencaps to explain it better: https://imgur.com/a/HBo2yjU
