storage space problems
Forgive me this may be a little off topic but since no one can seem to help me I thought maybe someone here could I have a cheap Galaxy SM-J260 AZ Android phone I use Firefox for my browser always have but ever since I started using an SD card I no longer have storage space Samsung cannot tell me why even when I take this SD card out I have less than 1 GB of storage space I used to put 3 GB on here before transferring to my computer I am a complete technological idiot so if anyone could help me I would appreciate it very much thank you have a wonderful day ... thank you

Do you have many apps installed or photos or music files on the device?
No that's just it the only thing I did was start using a SD card I even took apps off of the phone all I have on the phone is TubeMate and the MP3 converter and Google chat and I used to have Hangouts WhatsApp Facebook and Twitter on here and I had more storage I don't know what's up I just thought I would ask to see if somebody might know Samsung doesn't know . I'm not very technological but you know something it's something to do with the dadgum SIM card and even if I take it out I still don't get my storage back thanks for responding hope you have a wonderful day
If you open the Android Settings app, how much storage space is shown (available and used) without the SD card?
Hey thank you so much for the help I looked at everything that you suggested and I still couldn't figure it out and how I got it fixed I installed CC cleaner app and it took care of the whole problem there was tons of hidden cash that I couldn't find didn't know about so thank you so much for the help everybody you people are great wasn't even your problem and you still did everything you could to help me and I thank you very much. You know folks were living in some pretty perilous times right now and I'll be praying for you guys cuz it looks like things is going to get a lot worse before they get any better y'all take good care blessings to you and all you love thank you all so much sincerely Kyle Jennings
