Google screens different in Firefox than in chrome

When I do a Google search in Firefox the screen which comes up only has the menu items of 'all' 'images' and 'more' across the top, and I can't seem to add more items, though I can switch to others like 'video' or 'news' by clicking on the 'more' button. Google in chrome on the other hand shows: all, news, videos, images, shopping books, etc. across the top. I much prefer to have these other choices showing. Can I change to have these showing Firefox?

Also, when I do a Google image search in Chrome it brings up a full page of mid-size images, and it keeps adding images as I scroll down the page. And when I click on any image it brings up a close to full-screen version' and I can then either learn more about that image (go to its web pager, etc.) or swipe to see the next full-size image.

On the other hand, when I do an image search in Firefox, it brings up a page with about 20 very small images and half the screen is taken up with menu options (to go to other 1 2 3 4 pages, to sign in, terms, etc. ) And if I click on an image it immediately takes me to the source webpage and I don't have the chance to ever see a large version first.

I recently switched to Firefox and I really want to like it, but the Google search and image search functions seem so different with each browser and I definitely like Chrome's version better as it is more efficient and has better viewing options. Anything that I can do to change this?
