I am on a notebook running Windows 7 starter and for some reason my top line, on the left of screen, which used to contain File, View, Bookmarks, History, Tools and help has been replaced with the word Firefox in an orange box with a drop down arrow. Obviously I have done something wrong but I cannot find any way to get back to where I was.

Thanks! I had already tried this and it didn't work but since you came up with the same answer I decide to persevere! I messed about with the keys and the following solved it. Alt + click produced the toolbar but every time I clicked ANYWHERE it was gone again so I right clicked while it was still there (in the space at the side) and sure enough the box showed Menu bar UNTICKED. Ticked it and it is back!!! Thanks for your help, especially so quickly. Cheers!!!!!!!
