I can't see pictures in my email suddenly and the box isn't there to download pictures. I didn't change any settings or change my default browser.

When I open mail with pictures I used to get a box that when I right mouse click I am able to download pictures/content. (My browser is set to NOT automatically download content) This just happened tonight. I only see a small red x where the pictures are.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
