I cannot update firefox because it refuses to let me use keyscrambler, an add-on. When will this add on be viable with firefox 15?
I updated to the latest version of firefox when I was prompted. After installation I saw that two of my security programs were disabled. I uninstalled firefox and went to oldversion.com and reinstalled an older version. Now I am again being prompted to update. I do not want to be forced into an update because I will not compute with these two specific security features that worked on previous versions of firefox. The two add-ons are keyscrambler and AVG safe search. When will this be fixed? I do not trust other web browsers.....

AVG Safe Search is now AVG Secure Search. http://www.avg.com/ww-en/secure-search. It should work just fine with Firefox 15. (As a side note, Firefox already includes anti-phishing, thus duplicating AVG's functionality).
As for Keyscrambler, you will have to contact the developers of that add-on to find out when they will make it compatible with Firefox.
(note that by using old versions of Firefox you are less secure that being up to date)
Regarding KeyScrambler, I downloaded a copy of KeyScrambler Personal 2.9.2 and the installation file for that version of the add-on shows it as compatible with Firefox 15.
That is the version of keyscrambler that I have. I get an error message saying keyscrambler 2.9.2 is not compatible with firefox 15 and has been disabled. :( I will try again.
