My present browser is Internet Explorer, if I am browsing Ebay and I highlight a word or phrase, this is automatically put into the google toolbar , I can then get Google to search for this item . for instance if I am searching on Ebay and find Sony TV model 12345 , if I highlight the phrase it will jump into the Google toolbar window , then clic search and it will bring up search pages about the Sony model 1245 !! , How can I get this on Firefox ?

Once you highlight some text that you want to search for, right-click and select
Search Google for .....
(the ..... will be replaced by the text that you highlighted)

Firefox will use the search engine which is selected in the Search Bar. If you change the search engine that shows in the Search Bar, the search engine used (and named) in that context menu item will change.
