I have one desktop at 8.0 & one at 7.0 with no updates available???
One desktop I have XP home has updated 2 or 3 times & is now at 8.0. My second desk top , XP pro., is at 7.0 & even manually I can't find updates.

The PC which has Firefox 8 is on the Beta channel and is now 8.0 beta 3. The other is on the Release channel, where 7.0.1 is the current version. Firefox will be released on Sept 8th, 3 weeks from now.
If you open Help > About Firefox you'll be able to the channel each version is on.
Ty How do I get back on Beta channel - I liked it on my old computer. I'm guessing you mean Nov8 . I will try your suggestion. Mike
