Using a new MacBook Pro 13" with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.1 I moved my bookmark folders from a Windows XP computer after downloading Firefox 7.0.1 onto the Mac with json file. Now when I click to see my subfolders they do not display. The width of the folder contents is much wider then on the PC is this causing the subfolder display problem and is the display width adjustable on a a Mac?

That can be caused by having some bookmarks with a long title.
The width of a column in the Bookmarks menu list is in current Firefox versions automatically adjusted to fit the bookmark with the longest name.
You can check the names of the bookmarks and make the longer ones shorter.

Yes I gathered that this might be the problem from reading other posts but I can't/won't go thru thousands of bookmark names to shorten their names. Also some subfolders will appear on left side and others won't within the same bookmark folder when open and wide.

Can you/ someone in the Firefox community make this column width adjustable in next update? or create a plug in that will adjust column width. Please, please, please pass this request on to developers /code writers as I am an amateur and know no one to ask. Thank you.
