I have upgraded to Firfox 5 several times, gone as far as to remove firfox completely and reinstal, yet I keep getting messages that my firefox is not up to date! If 5.0 is not the most current how do I get the most current version??

WP 3.2 says Firefox is out of date, apps on facebook, I received an invite for Google + and it said my browser was not suppported, I had to go to safari to sign up. Yet When I click "About Firefox" it says I'm running 5.0 and it's up to date. What is wrong with this dang browser???

I just posted a similar problem below. You pointed me to the problem - thanks. My 'wrong browser version' was being caused by an old version number being left in the 'general.useragent.override' field. It would seem that this old version number would be deleted upon an upgrade, but the old version number is simply left in there. I changed the field from: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.20) Gecko/20081217 Firefox/2.0.0.18 to: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.20) Gecko/20081217

Your welcome! It was driving me batty for weeks! So glad I found the fix, you would think firefox would have fixed the bug and released and new version. I love FF, but this was a real hassle, very unlike them!
