I can't see background images, and the option is grayed out when I right click. How do I get images back? They do appear on my laptop, but not on desktop.

This just happened earlier today. I got a message about security on a web page which I closed, but since then the background images on IGoogle home page have disappeared. The persona is still viewable, but no other images. I rebooted computer and then uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled, but still no joy. Any suggestions?

It is a little too easy to block images on a site, but fortunately pretty easy to unblock them. If you right-click your iGoogle page and choose View Page Info, then click Permissions, check whether the "Load Images" permission is set to "Use Default". If not, re-check that checkbox, then close the dialog and reload the page.

Thanks for your help. Your first suggestion didn't work for me, so I'm going to the next step for images or animations. If these don't work, I'm considering switching to Safari which I've been playing with today. Since I started using Firefox 4, I've had several problems occur. I like the older version better, but I'll keep trying for now. Thanks again for you help.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings

Thanks for your input, but in the end I completely removed Firefox and all my files, etc. I then reinstalled it fresh and now all works again. The most time consuming part is installing all my personal files, but since I had put them in another browser, I was able to copy and paste. I guess if I put the files in IE, it would be even easier to transfer from favorites to bookmarks. Thanks to all who replied.
