Why isn't there a simple way to add a site to the desktop without dragging from the URL? I have Autosizer which always fills my screen, hiding my desktop.
In Internet Explorer, to add a link to the desktop, all that is required is that you click on "add shortcut", however, with Firefox, one must drag onto the desktop from the URL icon. My problem is that I have Autosizer which fills my screen making it impossible to drag the desired icon onto the desktop. Does this mean I must disable Autosizer everytime I wish to add a desktop shortcut? Seems like a lot of work to just add a shortcut. Why does Firefox not have a simple prompt?
