Make sure that JavaScript is not disabled. In the Tools menu select Options to open the options dialog. In the options dialog go to the Content panel for the setting to enable JavaScript.
Do you have an add-on that could be blocking JavaScript, such as NoScript? If you have NoScript make sure that scripts are allowed on the Google sites.
Try running Firefox in Firefox safe mode, this will disable all add-ons and can be used to see if an add-on is causing the problem. If the sites work in safe mode, see Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems for how to establish which one is causing the problem.
Java is enabled and NoScript allows google sites. Will try safe mode and report back..
Thanks
OK - some Google sites work fine in normal FF - some don't! In some there are elements that work and others don't! In Safe Mode all work fine - will need to test all extensions so will get back to you when done - probably only tomorrow..
Thanks

Solved! Took 5 mins to find it was my All-in-one Mouse Gestures - just need to disable when in Gmail or press Alt when using drop down boxes!
Thanks
