Since upgrading to 3.6.10 I cannot log onto my bank. Checked all cookie settings and all is as it should be. Bank says this is a Firefox problem?
Since I upgraded to v 3.6.10 I get asked a "security challenge" when I try to log on to one particular bank that I deal with. Other banks work OK. Bank advises the there is a problem with FF 3.6.10 not remembering cookies. I have checked all cookie settings and cleared all cookies and history to start over. Still won't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Try to clear the cookies from sites that cause problems.
- "Clear the Cache": Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
You can rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the Profile Folder in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
- Fix login issues on websites that require a username and password (Remove corrupt cookies file)
My problem isn't that I can't log in, but that Firefox 3.6.10 isn't handling cookies properly. When I try to log in to Citizens Bank Online, each and every time it asks me one of my security questions and I have to check "I want to register this computer". Also, with the Boston Herald user forums, I log in and click "remember me" and it never does. This only began with install of FF 3.6.10, but doesn't occur with IE7.

I still have not resolved the problem. I have gone through the "control console" and cannot locate the library for sqlite or it is not present.
I did find on further investigation, that my bank's cookies say that they expire when a session is closed . My other bank's cookies have an expiration date and work fine. I have to assume that the expiration is coming from the bank and not my MAC?
- Make sure that you not run Firefox in Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode
- You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing", possibly grayed
It says "Start Private Browsing" and is NOT grayed out.
Thanks for the effort.
