Filter on display text of sender
Is there a way I can make a filter that responds to the displayed sender (which may be different from the address)? For instance if an email has the header “From: "John Doe" <[email protected]>”, can I make a filter check if “John Doe” matches a pattern?

This issue has been solved—it was never there at all. I must’ve done something wrong in my filter.
