Yesterday I noticed that my saved passwords were not being retrieved from Firefox. I did do a Windows update before this happened. None of my passwords are able to be retrieved. My Firefox account says my sync is not working & that my account is disconnected. Which is weird bc I'm actually signed in to Firefox now - able to see my user name. What's going on here & how can I fix it? Thanks!

I Haven't changed my computer - have used this for 2.5 years. No changes there. Not sure what could have caused this, but it was noticed around the same time as the Windows update.

I actually think it has more to do with my account being disconnected than with sync. The sync seems to mostly be for when you're using different computers. Is there a reason why I'm logged in to Mozilla now (can see my username), but my Firefox browser icon says 'Account disconnected'? It says I need to sign in, but my password was remembered on this device & is no longer accessible. Changing my password would mean that I'd lose all my personal stuff - I really don't want that! Ideas?

You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if recent Sync logs are available. You can upload the file to a website like Pastesite if you can't post the content of the file in a reply.
