Security Keys for Google Account
I cannot log in to my Google account with Firefox. I get this message: You appear to have no security keys registered on your account, and won’t be able to sign in. To sign in on this device, ask your admin about registering a new security key or choosing another second step for verification.
I am the administrator of my account on Google Workspace. I have no idea what the problem is. I have MFA turned on and I am able to log in to Google with Chrome and Edge. I don't see an option on the Google Admin security tab to create a new security key. Please advise on a fix. Thanks

Hey there!
How about you try installing chrome on you're computer and seeing if you can login to your Google account there. Could you please show me a screenshot of the error you're getting so I can understand better?
Kind regards,
Bithiah
Are you sure that you login to the same account in Firefox and Google Chrome ?
You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
Image 1 is sign in to Google.
Image 2 is the password screen. Image 3 is the error message Image 4 is this same account running normally on Google chrome.
Before I got this error message, Firefox asked a few times for a security key which appeared to refer to some kind of usb key insertable into a usb port on my computer. I don't have such a thing. Google normally sends a message to the Google account on my phone for MFA authentication. While playing around with the security key nonsense the error message switched over to this message.
I want to use Firefox to access Google stuff, so thanks for your help!
Doesn't sound like a Firefox issue, looks more like a Google Account issue.

This is a Firefox issue because I don't have this problem on Chome or Edge browsers. I'm still waiting for a fix.

Did you check the settings in this Google account ?
Then can someone please explain why a message box appears and states that it's a request coming from Firefox? Please see the picture below.
I'm still having the problem. It's clearly a Firefox issue so why is it written into the program for us to insert a security key for Google by Firefox? I'm not getting the disconnect as to why people aren't able to offer a fix other than "clear your cookies clear you cache?" Will I have to do that every time I go to log in to Google? Clear my cookies, clear my cache?
Open the Windows Settings app, select Accounts, select Sign-in options, select Security Key, and then select Manage. Anything in there? Are you still running version 91 of Firefox?

Can you kindly check whether FIDO U2F is enabled?
