I am trying to write an HTML e-mail that I can send to my customers after they book / complete service. I have the HTML for a feedback link & buttons all set up and ready to go. But, I would like to edit the plain text separately so I can control what the e-mail displays as if they have plain text set on their client.

I cant seem to find the option or how to customize my plain text & insert my HTML to display without the plain text.

Is there some way to configure the plain text separately and then insert the HTML? When I change the composition settings to just plain text, I lose all of my options for inserting HTML. I'm so stuck!

Thanks! Kyle H

The plain text is auto generated from the HTML. Perhaps you might be better served explaining what is wrong with the plain text version that is generated

Thanks Matt. I was hoping that was not the case.

Auto-generated plain text generally looks terrible. So, I would like to customize it to read better in plain text.

Maybe there is a better way to send this other than Thunderbird? I was hoping I could just use my standard mail client.
