Hi there :) Plugin update check will land me on an unwanted 'Update Firefox' page. I know I'm using Firefox 45.9.ESR. I'm using it because Firefox dropped SSE support on more recent versions. (I will not update my PC hardware.) So my question is: Why not make available the plugins check for users of older Firefox versions? Or if it is not available on purpose, why still have the "Check to see if your plugins are up to date" sentence in the Add-ons section in the first place? If this is a version update issue then it's quite annoying and intrusive (making version update an unnecessary prerequisite for updating add-ons). If it has nothing to do with the version I'm using then please either delete the option to check add-on updates or make it possible for all users... Thank you in advance...:) Frank

hi frank, the plugin check page is no longer maintained, since mainline firefox versions have dropped all support for npapi plugins (except flash) in the meantime.
