national mahjongg online game requires foxfire as a browser. I keep getting messages that I have some sort of security block and I can't find it. I have tried everything I can think of to locate security block. Any suggestions. I am on mac computer and can't find nay problem

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

  • Clear the Cache and
  • Remove Cookies
    Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to.

Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar.

  • Cookies; Select Privacy. Under History, select Firefox will Use Custom Settings. Press the button on the right side called Show Cookies. Use the search bar to look for the site. Note; There may be more than one entry. Remove All of them.
  • Cache; Select Advanced > Network. Across from Cached Web Content, Press Clear Now.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). While you are in safe mode;

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe websites. Are there any problems?

I am totally upset with fire fox I have nothing but problems with it. I am a senior and not good with fixing things on computer and I can't believe that I am always having an issue. Thanks for your assistance but Im best just forgetting using this site. Im sad that I will not be able to participate in nmjl.or on line game. Wish they would serve other browsers

Can you attach a screenshot?

Thank you for you post but I have changed my browser as I had explained in prior posts and am not computer savvy. I am giving up for now even tho I paid to play the online game nmjl.org.

Seeing you've paid for this I think you should pursue it. I doubt if this is a Firefox problem. Why aren't you asking nmjl for help?

Thank you for your advise and I have sent an email to their support and will see what they say. I have enable Foxfire browser so they can do something since that is the only browser they use.
