Unable to watch streaming video.
This started with FF47 and continues into FF49. I'm unable to watch streaming video on certain YT channels, HULU or any other site that wants to find HTML5 or Flash operational in FF. I'm including a screen shot of the message I get on HULU. The one on YT will not allow a screen shot. It says "your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats available" with a link to FAQ about HTML5 video. When visiting the link, YT identifies FF as having all available formats. Another site that has become involved with this degrade of FF is Top News Headlines Live Stream. I've been watching all of these in a 64bit version of FF for as long as I can remember. This has just now started. The live stream news just sits there waiting for the "Connecting to stream arbitration server…" to happen. On Daily Motion, I'm no longer able to watch any live stream.
I have exhausted my trouble shooting abilities. This is not a Windows problem that I can see. Therefore, I need to drop this in FF lap for repair.
These problems do not happen in any other browser.
I really don't want to sound snarky, but it seems that every time a new release of FF comes along, what was working great starts to fail.
Please guide me to what ever I need to do rather than ask me to chase more trouble shooting adventures. I have exhausted them before contacting you. An no, it is not an extension problem that I can find.

Do you have Windows 10 N or KN ? if you do not have the Media Feature Pack installed then that that can explain why you cannot see HTML5 video on say Youtube as all should be checked blue on www.youtube.com/html5/

It shows everything to be working properly. It's only channels that live stream that I'm unable to watch. All other YT services work fine with no problems watching individual videos. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-video-audio-problems-firefox-windows Your More System Details on right of post does not show you have a Flash Player installed or activated. I just did that before posting this. Maybe that's the problem. If I just installed and made sure it was operational, and it's not showing up on the support site, maybe the particular service I'm trying to use won't recognize it either. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keep-flash-up-to-date-and-troubleshoot-problems I continually and religiously keep Flash and all other plug ins up to date. And, I don't know if there is a connection, FF crashes almost daily and I can't find the cause of that either. Just an aside, I use Hotspot Shield VPN all the time for everything I do. I'm adding this because, again, there hasn't historically ever been a problem.

I haven't a clue. Which do I need and how do I go about getting it. I had a lot of problems with Win10 after the original install and had to re install it using a MS program. Before the reinstall, I had every kind of problem you can think of. Afterwards? Just fine.
