Mozilla is not opening http sites but is only opening https sites and there is no option to allow the website on the dropdown menu.
the suggestions say to disable proxy and firewall which i have already done but still the same problem.

Do you get any error messages? Can you post public links to the bad pages?
There is security software like Avast and Kaspersky and BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

This Connection is Untrusted is sometimes caused because the computer system clock is wrong. Check the time / date / time zone settings.
