how to find bookmark folder name
In bookmarks sidebar, search locates Bookmarks. I want to also show Folders as results. How?
Clarification: I am not looking to find which folder a bookmark is in, I am looking for the folders themselves, i.e. if I have a bookmark folder called "Travel planning" I want to be able to enter "Travel" in the bookmark search box, and get the "Travel planning" folder in the list of result, together with any bookmarks that also are relevant. Then I want to be able to click the "Travel planning" folder in the results list, and get to the location the bookmark tree, with this folder highlighted.
I have not found an addon to do this. Please advise.
Thanks!

That is not possible in the sidebar.
If folders are expanded (opened) then you can do a limited search by typing the first letters of the name or folder quickly enough that Firefox see them as one word when you are in the bookmarks/folder area.
In the Bookmarks Manager (Library) you can use these extensions.
- Show Parent Folder: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/show-parent-folder/
- Go Parent Folder: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/go-parent-folder/
thanks for the info. To me as a non-programmer, it sounds like it should be possible to do in an addon, but considering the number of developers for firefox addons, if it was possible, maybe someone should already have done it...
I added both of these add ons and restarted FF( 32.0.1) and I don't see the parent folder field in my bookmark searches.
Show Parent Folder: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/show-parent-folder/ Go Parent Folder: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/go-parent-folder/
OK.I found how to add the column under "VIEWS".
