Display issues with the hotmail site after os 10.9.4 mac update
I updated to mac 10.9.4 this morning and since then there have been display issues with hotmail. Hotmail can still send / receive emails, the side menus all show, only the top menu options (white text on red background) are missing. I no longer have the NEW REPLY DELETE ARCHIVE JUNK SWEEP MOVE TO CATEGORIES buttons showing. The top left OUTLOOK.COM button is still there, as is the OPTIONS (just). All is well when I enter hotmail through Safari, no issues, but Firefox is my main browser!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When you have a problem with one particular site that worked normally before, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Command+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
- right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- Tools menu > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove your live.com cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page and logging in again. Does that help?
