I have my default email say .. [email protected]. In TB it shows the email address with of course all the stuff below like inbox, junk, drafts & so forth. I want to have a additional email below it [email protected] with the same info below. I followed directions from forums & every other support. Went to Manage Identities & added a email as instructed & it shows in the box the default email which is the abc email & the def email. However, it does not display the def email under the abc email with all the Inbox, junk, drafts & so forth. I accidently did it on another computer but I havent been able to do it ever again. Example of what I want.

[email protected]

  Inbox
  Drafts
  Junk
  so forth

(Then) [email protected]

  Inbox
  Drafts
  So Forth

terminology is the issue here.

Whilst AOL have refered to these additional email accounts as identities basically forever, they are not identities, they are email accounts. So simply add it to Thunderbird as an existing email account (File menu ) New> existing mail account
