Just installed Firefox 28.0 for Mac (via the browser) and now cannot restart the programme. It crashes in safe mode, after a minute or so. I've pasted the info from the latest crash report I sent in. I'm posting this from Chrome so I can't do any of the automatic stuff you recommend. The following are all of today's crash report numbers from Library>Application Support>Firefox>Crash Reports bp-d5199f59-95bd-42b3-b0ce-91e782140319 bp-64d8f6c8-ea74-4265-8bb9-4efba2140319 bp-39b69fd3-fce3-4068-a9e1-621f52140319 bp-2a818df6-9987-4738-8a73-332522140319 bp-dd6b19b3-0b04-4fdd-88b7-2f6062140319 bp-36457552-71a2-4f15-be50-448d72140319

Chosen solution

Update your security related Trusteer Rapport software. If that does not help try disabling it or uninstalling it. The Trusteer Rapport software is likely to need updating for each new version of Firefox, but may not always update itself automatically.

Trusteer is apparently aware of the issue and trying to get updates out.

Please report back with how you get on.
It may be interesting to know exactly what the software and version is that you are having problems with, and then the version that is updated to and hopefully resolves the issue.

That is a problem with Trusteer software (RapportTanzanxx.DLL).

Make sure that you have the latest updates of your Trusteer software.

You can try to contact Trusteer for support.
