Hi guys, so i had a massive problem once when i lost all my tabs. I was able to recover them using recuva to get the session store files back and ive been happily browsing again. Now my problem is, until i reinstall windows i sometimes get BSOD's which if firefox is still open, i will lose all my tabs and have to go through the entire recuva process again, which is hours long and sometimes doesnt work. To this end i make backups of the session store in the appdata/roaming/ mozilla folder. However i have also noticed that there is almost a duplicate folder in the Local app data folder. Which is more important to backup? should i backup both sessionstore.js files from both folders or just the one from roaming? Because sometimes the tabs dont restore unless i copy them into both folders

When you say; ""duplicate folder in the Local app data folder"", do you mean that the folders have the exact same name? What is/are the names?

The location in AppData\Local is used for the disk cache (see about:cache) and other caches as you can see by the names of the folders in it.

The location in AppData\Roaming is the main profile folder where all your personal data is stored.
