I have a software program called "Auslogics Boost Speed 6". Every time it runs automatically to clean my system, the bookmarks on my bookmark tool bar disappear.

Is there anyway I can lock this tool bar so I don't have to add all them back every time this program cleans my system?

Thanks, Jim Yeary

It is best to exclude the Firefox profile folder from this cleaning and use built-in Firefox means to cleanup personal data to avoid corrupting your profile folder.

You can let cookies expire when you close Firefox and remove other data via "Clear history when Firefox closes".

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

Clearing cookies will remove all specified (selected) cookies including cookies with an allow exception that you would like to keep.

For some reason the program that you are trying to use is deleting some Firefox preferences.
Check this program's settings and see if you can remove Firefox from the list of programs to clean.
Firefox has its own built-in cleaner to clean itself. It should cause any issues to the program, but will clean cache, cookies, history, etc.
