Sync from my Linux laptop to my Android tablet doesn't work so I'm trying to start over and I'm following the procedure on this page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-manage-my-firefox-sync-account?esab=a&s=sync+incorrect+account+or+password&r=0&as=s but I cannot find the Firefox Sync page. When I log in to https://account.services.mozilla.com I get a page called Mozilla Support, at the top are

with 4 boxes - three for Firefox, one for Thunderbird with a "Search Mozilla Suppport" box above. If I click on my User ID at the top it expands to View Profile, Edit Profile, Settings and Sign Out.

I spent all afternoon trying to set up Sync - it says my user ID or password is bad, when clearly it isn't so I want to try starting over. How do I delete my Sync Account?

You can try to remove the current account and start anew.

Reset Lost or Forgotten Password or delete sync account:

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.

Fell at the first hurdle. The page at https://services.mozilla.com/ says "Unable to log you in" but does not say why. If I use the link saying I forgot my password and try to reset it, it says that my email/username are not recognised.

Yes I did. It says my email address is already in use. I can't delete my existing profile because my neither my username not email are recognised. It's a vicious circle. How can they be already in use if they can't be recognised?
