I was previously able to access the website certifiedbackground.com without any issue. All of a sudden, I receive the following message when trying to connect to the site: An error occurred during a connection to www.certifiedbackground.com.

Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s).

(Error code: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap)

I tried using Internet Explorer and received the same message. I am able to access the site at work. If someone could please help, it would be greatly appreciated. I NEED to access this site for my schooling/future practice. Thank you!

No problems here. I can get an AES-256 connection or an RC4 128 bit connection if I enable the security.ssl3.rsa_rc4_128_sha pref.

What are the connection settings?

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
