I have removed ALL instances of incredibar/incredimail from my laptop. When I go into the Firefox configuration (about:config), I reset ALL of the incredibar extensions. However, when I restart Firefox, ALL of the incredibar extensions come back. This is really annoying because I have completely removed incredibar. Please help. Thanks

P.S. I don't want to lose any of my Firefox customizations, either.

Chosen solution

hello james, please try this: go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information, click on profile folder/show folder and close all firefox windows afterwards. a windows explorer window should open up - in there delete the file named user.js - it is used to overwrite your custom preferences.

Thank you for the help. I did not know that the user.js was causing the issue. Once I got rid of that file, I went back into about:config, reset the incredibar, restarted Firefox, and rechecked for incredibar and it finally gone.

Again, thank you for the help. -James Sullivant
