Calorie Count Toolbar quit working, went to download and it is no longer available.

I was directed to this page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/calorie-count-toolbar/eula/114980 when trying to download this toolbar http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/toolbar/ . I have corresponded with tech support from Calorie Count and they told me it was a problem on the Firefox end and that Calorie Count wasn't going to do anything about it. I would love to have the toolbar as I have used it in the past, but it is not compatible with the newest edition of Firefox. Is this something you can help with? Thanks so much!

That is what sent me here.

This forum is for Firefox support, not for Add-on support. My suggestion is to post in the Add-ons forum - https://forums.mozilla.org/addons/

That We're sorry, but we can't find what you're looking for. page usually happens when an add-on was pulled from the AMO servers due to violation of the rules governing the hosting of Add-ons.

Beyond that, if Calorie Count knows that their add-on toolbar has been pulled from the Add-ons website, why don't they fix their Firefox Toolbar downloads page; so that the Get Started button doesn't send the user to a non-existent page?

They need to deal with their problem and modify their Toolbar to meet AMO standards, or they need to self-host that toolbar from their own server.

I specified addons when answering the KB questions.  :(

I understand the message dialog.

That point itself was given to CC and they said it wasn't their problem.

Can this topic be moved to the right sub-forum?

Sorry, the Add-ons forum is completely separate from this Support forum, so it can't be moved.
