Hi - I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this issue I've been having with Android Firefox?

Whenever I press the 'menu' key on my phone while running FF (tried with 16 and beta/17), the application crashes immediately. I briefly see my Android homescreen, then the FF page asking me to submit a crash report to Mozilla. I've done this, of course, and one of the links is attached.

I'm a bit surprised that I have not been able to find any mention on the interwebs about this issue. Perhaps someone can let me know what's going on?

Cheers Charlie

Chosen solution

You probably have a Meizu-Brand Phone...

The problem is that Meizu has modified android.policy.odex in a bad way... introducing a null-Dereference error in it...

Should your phone be a Meizu MX, then I can help you, as I've published a inofficial fix for that badly modified library here:
