After recently updating Firefox I lost my Freecorder from the menu bar. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it still does not appear. It is in internet explorer but not firefox
desktop running w7 64 bit
Chosen solution
In order to insert a toolbar into Firefox, Freecorder needs to install a Firefox add-on in addition to its own program.
The standard response from their tech support is to uninstall and reinstall:
I installed freecorder audio 4 but the toolbar doesnt show up not even after enabling add ons
Freecorder Toolbar dissapeared
Without installing it myself, I don't know what else to suggest.

The two main types of add-ons in Firefox are plugins and extensions. Can you check to see whether Firefox has disabled this add-on?
orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons
You can select the category on the left. On the right, the enabled add-ons are listed first, then the disabled ones. If the add-on can't be enabled, it might need an update from the author.
Any luck?
Actually, you first might check the toolbars list in case it just isn't displayed.
Alt+v (displays classic View menu) > Toolbars

Thank you. Freecorder is a program, which when downloaded sits on the task bar, so is not like an addon.I have checked in add ons and toolbars, nothing. cheers

Thank you, that did it. I think I downloaded 5, not realising it was for US, and I also declined one of the add ons. cheers
