When will I be able to add Google and Yahoo tool bars to Firefox 5. These are well used toolbars which were available with Firefox 4, why have we lost them?
Why did we lose the ability to use Google and Yahoo toolbars when Firefox 5 was introduced.
Chosen solution
Yahoo needs to update their Firefox toolbar, and the Google Toolbar "will not be supported on Firefox 5 and future versions."

Guess I'll have to switch to Chrome. Bye Firefox.
There is no Google Toolbar for Chrome. New versions of Google Toolbar are for IE only. Google made that decision. See https://www.google.com/support/toolbar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1111588
same problem but with ff6 this time UNFORTUNATELY it updated automatically to ff6 from ff5 and it was a disaster now I cant use yahoo toolbar either I am switching everything to IE9. I dont know if its google, yahoo, or Mozilla who is at fault but its the consumer that ends up suffering.
Thanks. It seems that most people agree with you. Like you I have moved back to IE9.
