I have encountered the error message Firefox is already running, but is not responding.
I have encountered the error message Firefox is already running, but is not responding. I restarted multuple times to no avail i than deleted firefox to see if that helped and cleared cookies cache and history and than restarted .Now I have redownloaded firefox and still get the error message and have tried the fixes listed to no avail please help i prefer firefox to all the other browsers out there .

You will need to kill the firefox process. The problem may cease after you kill it a couple of times and allow it to restart normally, or you may need to look further int what is causing this.
