I downloaded Firefox 4 but my laptop cannot open Firefox 4. I want my old Firefox so I don't lose my bookmarks, etc. Now I can't open Firefox at all.

As propmted by firefox, I downloaded Firefox 4 for my Mac. However, my Mac is not able to open this version of Firefox. I bought the computer in 2007 and have not had it updated since. I replaced my old firefox so now I cannot open the browser at all. Can I download an old version of firefox? Are my bookmarks lost?

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5. You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

When you re-install Firefox 3.6 it will use your existing bookmarks and other user data.
