I no longer have the option under 'File' on the main menu to open a new window.
In the past(recent past) I was able to open a new window of Firefox by licking on File then there was an option to open a new window(session) of Firefox. At some point which I am unsure of that option is no longer there. Does anyone know why or how I can correct or fix it? I'd very much appreciate the help because I miss the feature very much!
Chosen solution
If you do not see the menu bar with the File menu then see Restore the Menu bar in Firefox
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems
You can also try "Reset toolbars and controls" on the Safe mode start window

Thank you for the reply. I discovered the reason this was happening is from an add-on called TAB MIX PLUS. I disabled the add-on and the problem is fixed. The add-on gave a way to have a new window open but it took more steps making the TABS MIX PLUS add-on not be a plus but a minus in my opinion! Thank you again for the reply, it pointed me in the right direction to fix and correct the issue.
You're welcome
You can set in the TMP Options which menu and context menu items that you see. An extension like Tab Mix Plus has a lot of settings. It is always a good idea to check out the settings of an extension if you install a new one or look for a help guide.
