when i close firefox and want to restart, i get the message "firefox is running, but not responding"

When I close Firefox I get the message " Firefox is running but not responding" close all Firefox process or re-start my system, I have Windows XP Home Edition.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== logoff and logon
