Hi all, Each time I open the browser Firefox opens in Turkish (most probably based on my location, I tried to change it but it did not accept) Then I have to switch manually or open my Google account. In settings I chose everywhere English like search results, but I goes back to basic. I dont want to see the search results in Turkish and I dont want to see the Turkish websites. Also when I write an email in English it checks against Turkish, so no help. I dont have the same problem with google products in Chrome ( the native browser) So I assume that the problem is with Firefox. I did not install anything in Turkish (I even do not use Turkish keyboard) Do I need to install English dictionary?? when I click to change the English manually each time, then it switches, but goes back to Turkish again. It is annoying, that is why I keep using Chrome. Can you pls help

What Firefox locale do you have installed as it sounds that you may have a Turkish locale with an English language pack and no English dictionary installed?

If the Firefox user interface (toolbars) is in the wrong language or if you want to change the current language, download Firefox in the language of your choice.

Note that websites may check your location via your IP and redirect you to the local language. You can check the preferred languages for websites and make sure that only 'en' and 'en-US' (or another 'en' locale) are present. Such a choice is saved in a cookie, so you need to keep cookies for those websites and keep the "Site settings" if you need to create a cookie allow exception.

The first language setting in Settings is about the language for the user interface.

The second language setting in Settings is about the preferred languages for webpages.
