A few days ago a friend set up a new computer for me which has Windows 11. I thought he installed Mozilla Firefox for Windows 11, but I'm not sure if he did it correctly. How do I find out if it was installed for Windows 11? Thank you!

Hi

Mozilla does not provide a special version of Firefox just for Windows 11. If you are using Firefox on that computer (and keep it up to date) you should be okay.

Note that there are several Firefox versions available for Windows. There is Firefox from the Mozilla server.

There is also the MSIX version from the MS store.

You didn't provide the Troubleshooting Information, so we can't check the update channel.

Though Firefox for Windows is currently for Windows 10 or later since the Fx 116.0 Release as support for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 was dropped.
