Every about three weeks i have to fully remove and reinstall firefox just so I can get a youtube video to play. I have tried refresh, it does nothing. I have tried without the addons but all the addons I have on firefox are the same for chrome and brave. Once my three week window comes to an end the browser starts taking forever to load youtube videos and then after a bit wont load them at all and starts crashing after I try and search through the url bar or sometime just selecting things on websites. I have tried refresh, reinstall (redownloaded installer each time), without addons, private browsing, with/ without pihole, only device on network, and refreshing windows itself. Nothing has fixed this other than fully wiping everything and reinstalling firefox, setting up all the settings all over again and adding my bookmarks manually and signing into all my stuff again.

You can also try Windows Sandbox if you're running Win Pro and see if you have the same issues. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/
