Is there an easy way to move all my bookmarks when I switch browsers?

more options

Currently I am using the Chrome browser and I am planning to switch to Firefox. I have a lot of bookmarks in my Chrome browser which some are quite important. I tried to manually save my bookmarks into the Firefox browser, however, the process is quite tedious. Is there an easier way to do this?

You can find it by clicking on the star icon (far-left side of the Bookmarks Toolbar).

For easier navigation between all your bookmarks, you can choose to open the bookmarks sidebar by clicking on the star icon > View bookmarks sidebar.

Hi there, fortunately there is! I have some experience in this.

For this to work, you must not have uninstalled your Chrome browser. Below are the steps that I personally tried before.

Assuming you’ve already downloaded the Firefox browser:

1. Close your Chrome browser. 2. Open the Firefox browser. 3. Click on the Application Menu button (it has 3 horizontal lines, and you can find it on the far-right side of the address bar). 4. Click Bookmarks. In the Bookmarks sub-menu, go to the bottom and click Manage bookmarks. 5. A Library window should pop up. Now, click Import and Backup. From the dropdown menu, select Import Data from Another Browser.... 6. An Import Wizard window will pop up. 7. Under Import Settings and Data, select the Chrome option and click Next. 8. Choose your Chrome profile (the location of the bookmarks that you wish to migrate into Firefox). After that, click Next. 9. Under Items to Import, there will be several checkboxes for you to select. Since you only mentioned about importing bookmarks, you may only select the Bookmarks option. After that, click Next. 10. If successful, there will be an Import Complete message. Click Finish to close the Import Wizard window.

Tq for the reply.

For now, I can see that the bookmarks on Chrome’s bookmark bar have been moved to Firefox’s Bookmarks Toolbar, but where can I find the bookmarks that I have saved in the “Other bookmarks” folder?

My “Other bookmarks” folder hierarchy looks something like this: - XXX website - Social media (folder) - Instagram website - Facebook website
