I want to undo this without losing the 60+ tabs I have open in 3 windows. How do I reset this blind? My problem is that I can't see "apply change" or change color buttons.

Do you get visible text if you try to select content (e.g. Ctrl+A) ?

You can also try to reset these prefs on the about:config page.

  • browser.display.background_color
  • browser.display.foreground_color
  • browser.display.document_color_use - Never(1) - Always(2) - Only with High Contrast themes(0)

If that doesn't work the try to edit prefs.js in the profile folder and look for browser.display lines.

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

Location used for the main profile that keeps your personal data (Root Directory on about:profiles).

  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>

"AppData" (XP: Application Data; Mac: ~/Library; Linux: ~/.mozilla) is a hidden folder.
