Q. re Thunderbird 68.4.2
In Thunderbird 68.4.2, with an IMAP account, how do I choose the option to leave emails on the server? I don't see that option/checkbox in the Accounts server setup in this version!
Chosen solution
when email account is accessed via IMAP protocol from TB's IMAP based mail-account, then by-default all emails will be saved/remain in remote mail-server, a copy will be downloaded into local cache to show emails to user.
when email account is accessed via POP protocol from TB's POP based mail-account, then by-default all emails will be downloaded/saved/remain in local mail-account.

Dear atErik, Thank you. I suspected this, but know that option exists in other versions. But the peace of mind is invaluable! Hank
